How do I rotate the tool holder in a specific direction?

Select the last item of your new assembly. In the Properties, you can add an offset for a direction.
                 

How do I create an assembly out of imported custom items?

If you want to build an assembly out of custom item it is important that you check all connection codes. If one item has missing connection code information CoroPlus® Tool Library doesn’t know that this fits together with another item.

1. Open your custom item and select the Connection code button.
2. Click the + button to add the missing connection code.
