CoroTurn XS boring bars and the exchangeable-head (EH) system make boring down to 1 mm (0.039 inch) diameter possible, while keeping your tool inventory at a minimum.

Recommendations
Recommendation for using EH boring heads
- A conical shank gives best hole quality at long overhangs, regardless of which chuck is used
- For a cylindrical shank the best straightness is generally given by short overhangs
- Choose conical solid carbide for overhangs up to 6 × diameter
- Choose heavy metal shanks for best stability and reduced vibration tendencies at short overhangs
- Choose CoroChuck™ 930 for best stability and production security
