Solid carbide and polycrystalline diamond (PCD) micro drills ideal for precision machining on small parts
Outstanding performance in small part machining up to 16 times diameter
These micro drills offer outstanding performance in holes from 0.30–3.0 mm (0.012–0.118 inches) diameter. They come in sizes that drill to depths of 16 × diameter.
Through-coolant in 1 mm and above diameter
Internal coolant holes deliver coolant directly to the tip of the micro drill even at deep drilling depths of 16× diameter. This results in excellent cutting performance and chip evacuation.
Extended tool life using PCD diamond drills
The PCD diamond micro drills offer a longer tool life than solid carbide. Excellent for cutting difficult materials such as platinum and green ceramics.
Application
- Achievable hole tolerance: ISO standard JS7 (+/- 6 micron) 9 × D solid carbide drills have an H7 hole tolerance
- Suitable for all materials
- Drill lengths: 9×,12×,16× diameter
- Drill diameter range: 0.3–3 mm (0.0118–0.118 inch)
- Use with CoroChuck 930 high precision chucks
