For internal and external turning of slender components
Inserts and tool holders with rail interface ensure mounting security and offer secure machining for profiling and pocketing applications. When the insert is indexed the same way every time you can increase productivity and achieve higher quality.
Screw clamp design of CoroTurn® 107 ensures stability and unobstructed chip flow while turning. It is easy to handle, clean and maintain.
Tool holders are equipped with nozzles that direct precision coolant right at the insert edge to boost process security and provide excellent chip control.

Use with rail interface tool holders
Note! The round inserts with rail interface also fit conventional CoroTurn® 107 tool holders but will then lose the benefit of indexability. However, the rail interface tool holders can only be used with inserts with rail interface.
CoroTurn® 107 is optimized for internal and external turning of slender components. Sharp cutting edges and excellent chip control ensure a soft cutting action and low cutting forces, providing an exceptional surface finish.
Use the round inserts and tool holders with rail interface for secure machining of your profiling and pocketing applications. The rail interface locks the rotation of the insert, minimizing unwanted stops from insert or screw breakage. Tool holders are available with over and under coolant for good chip control and high process security.
To boost your productivity in HRSA materials, use the screw-mounted CBN platform, with up to 12 insert indexes.
