Recommendation for using EH boring heads
- Get the best whole quality at long overhangs with a conical shank - regardless of which chuck is used
- Select a cylindrical shank for the straightest holes for short overhangs
- Choose conical solid carbide for overhangs up to 6 × diameter
- Choose heavy metal shanks for best stability and reduced vibration tendencies at short overhangs
